AD SUBMISSION
All ads should be submitted in electronic form by either disk, e-mail or through ftp transfer, Camera Ready Ads (film or reflective artwork) are not accepted. If you have special requirements for sending your ads, please contact our Sales Department. Tiff or Jpeg files are acceptable (save tiff’s with Macintosh encoding and LZW compression. Save jpeg’s as baseline standard and quality 10. both should be 300 dpi). We cannot accept native files (Quark, Illustrator, etc.) all files should be converted to PDF FORMAT.

PDF FORMAT
• PDF’s should be created with Acrobat Distiller using the Press Optimized job option.
• Do not use PDF Writer to create a PDF. The file will not be usable for printing.
• All fonts must be embedded.
• File settings from Quark and other page layout programs should be 2400dpi and 100 linescreen.
• 4 Color ads should be created as composite CMYK with all spot colors converted to process. RGB files must be converted to CMYK before creating the PDF.
• DO NOT INCLUDE: OPI tags, ICC profiles or transparency when creating PDFs. Copy will be lost during the production process. |

E-MAIL
• All e-mail submissions must be sent to ads@pattayatoday.net
• Files need to be compressed with either Stuffit Deluxe or DropStuff (for Macintosh) or WinZip (for PC).
• Keep all e-mails under 8MBs
• Include the client name and insertion date in the subject line of your e-mail. (e.g. The Lobster Pot_10-17-2006)
• Please include your representative’s name in the body of the e-mail.
• Include the name and telephone number for a contact person in the body of the email |
DEADLINES
The deadline to receive ads electronically or via disk is 5:00 pm 7 days before the issue publication date. |
