Al Hilal offers Messi salary of 400 million per season

Must read

Yesterday it was announced that Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain will most likely separate after this season and a club from Saudi Arabia seems to want to strike immediately. Al Hilal has offered the Argentine superstar a salary of 400 million euros per year.

With the extremely high bid, Al Hilal wants to seduce Messi to play in the Saudi Pro League after this season. For comparison: Cristiano Ronaldo currently receives two hundred million euros a year at Al-Nassr. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms that the offer has been officially submitted to Messi.

Despite the gigantic offer, a switch to Al Hilal seems unlikely. Messi would have the top priority to remain active in a top competition in Europe. A return to FC Barcelona is therefore more likely. Barcelona, via Vice President Rafa Yuste, has already announced that it is serious about making a return a reality.

Messi’s contract with PSG runs until the summer. Negotiations over a possible extension are said to have taken place in recent weeks, but sources tell the French news agency AFP that “the dynamics in the negotiations between the club and the player have completely changed” . The team around the 35-year-old footballer wanted to see an improved contract, while PSG wants to save money. In addition, the club is dissatisfied with Messi’s performance.

Messi was also whistled a number of times by his own fans in recent PSG matches. Many of them have the idea that he works extra hard when he plays for Argentina, but barely gives his best when he plays for PSG.
