Cristiano Ronaldo: Manchester United reach agreement with Juventus to re-sign forward
Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar comes over from Juventus when he first appeared to be heading for arch-rival Manchester City.
Due to the rumours surrounding Manchester City, Ronaldo has been referred to as a ‘snake’ by United fans on social media in recent days. A few hours after he was rumoured to agree with City, the other Manchester club announced his arrival. City was indeed interested, but dropped out on Friday afternoon, after which United struck.

CR7 thus returns to the club where he played for 6 years from 2003. With United, he won the league title and a Champions League three times in that period.
The current manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, still played with Ronaldo during that period and praised the Portuguese on Friday. “We have always kept in touch. Cristiano is a legend of this club, the best player of all time if you ask me. I was lucky enough to have been able to play with him,” said the manager.
