Lewis Hamilton is involved as a producer on an upcoming Formula 1 movie made by Apple TV+. The lead role in the film is played by Brad Pitt.
Rumors of a Formula 1 movie have been circulating for months, but Apple TV+ has now officially confirmed the news. The film is about an elderly racing driver (Brad Pitt) who returns from retirement to compete with the best driver of the moment.
The film is directed by Joseph Kosinki, known for the blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick.
Hamilton has previously had cameos in movies like Cars 2 , Cars 3 and Zoolander , but it doesn’t look like he will be featured in the Apple TV+ movie. The driver said in an interview earlier: “I like doing it, but I don’t know if I have a real talent for it. I do my best, but there are many others who can do this much better than me. So I Don’t make any illusions about a film career, and I don’t aspire to one at all, I find racing far too fun and challenging for that.
