The stabbing took place shortly before midnight on the packed dance floor of techno club The Crane last night, British media reported. The club’s staff and the emergency services called and tried to resuscitate the man, but to no avail. He was pronounced dead thirty minutes after the first report.
Hundreds of people celebrated Boxing Day in the club, also known as ‘Boxing Day’ in England. Tracing and finding the perpetrator, or possibly even perpetrators is therefore not easy due to the crowds. Images from a party earlier this month in The Crane show the circumstances the police are dealing with.
The police are looking at the surveillance footage of the club in the hope of being able to determine exactly what happened. Club visitors who have seen or perhaps even filmed something are also called upon to report it.
