The 2021 Pattaya Music Festival, which kicked off yesterday, gives people a good reason to go to Chonburi on weekends.
Almost every weekend until December 11, a free musical extravaganza is held featuring big names from the local entertainment scene.
Only 500 people are allowed to attend and all attendees must present proof of vaccination or negative test results taken no more than 72 hours before.
The main stage this weekend is set up on Central Pattaya Beach, with two more near Dusit Thani Hotel and the Royal Garden Plaza. The Pattaya Beach Road will be closed to traffic on Saturday (November 6) from 4 PM to 1 AM.
Next weekend there will be performances at Jomtien Beach and Koh Larn’s Nuan Beach.
The festival does have a 2-week hiatus as Loy Krathong is celebrated on November 19 and Pattaya’s highly anticipated fireworks festival on November 26.
The festival’s third weekend on December 3-4 will be held at Lan Poe Naklua Public Park before closing on the fourth weekend at Pattaya Beach.
