Philippines struck by huge 6.4 magnitude earthquake – Buildings in the capital city SHAKING

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has struck Manila, Philippines.

Witnesses reported buildings swaying after the earthquake struck the Philippines’ city of Luzon on Monday afternoon. The earthquake hit the city at 09.11 UTC time, striking at a depth of 30km – 65km from Manila.

One witness said: “Building swayed quite scarily. Almost lost my footing while walking. No breakage/tumble. Estimate two waves, second stronger. About 15-20 secs altogether.” Another witness said: “Very strong earthquake in Parañaque (a few km south of Manila).” One wrote: “Inside the car in the 3rd level parking floor. The car was dancing on its suspension. Some shaking felt for about 2 minutes then subsided.
