Las Vegas police have released previously unseen images of Tupac Amaru Shakur aka 2Pac. These are photos and videos just before his death. The images played an important role in the arrest of Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis, who is suspected of the murder of the hip-hop legend.
The footage includes a video showing 2Pac and his Death Row Records squad getting into a major physical group altercation. For example, during the heavyweight fight between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon, security cameras at the MGM Grand captured two groups fighting in the building’s lobby. The images show that 2Pac is in the lead and does not back down when the physical confrontation takes place. The police announced that the fight was about a Death Row Records chain, a rumour that had been circulating on the internet for some time.
Furthermore, authorities released official photos from the night of his death. Those images include the crime scene and the bullet-ridden car in which 2Pac was murdered. The video and photos are covered by, among others, the American news channel 8 News Now.
Last weekend, Las Vegas police released news that a possible suspect in 2Pac’s murder had been arrested. It is said to be Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis, who previously admitted in an interview with DJ Vlad that he was in the car from which the bullets that killed 2Pac were fired. The shooting took place just steps from the Las Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996.
