A young woman from the Netherlands has reported rape by a bar employee in Mallorca. After going out at Playa de Palma, she was allegedly abused at his home early in the morning. The bartender has since been arrested as a suspect.
SEXUAL ABUSE
The young woman met the bartender with a friend at work and went home with him after hours. According to the Spanish medium Diario de Mallorca, they had agreed to have sex with the man, but one of the women ultimately refused. The suspect would have forced her to do so.
BUSTED
The alleged victim would have told the police upset about what had happened, after which an investigation was immediately launched. Her friend was questioned as a witness to find out what had happened before the sexual offense took place. The story of the girlfriend and the victim matched, which ensured that the bar employee was arrested on Monday.
The examining magistrate may allow the suspect to remain free during the investigation. He has been given a restraining order so that he cannot approach the victim while awaiting trial.
