A very recent report has confirmed that a naval officer, Pralitdet Chumngern, a 36-year-old commander of the Royal Thai Navy, died peacefully at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok from severe burns.

Pralitdet is considered the 17th victim of the Mountain B-nightclub fire, following the lead of Sittichai Ouilert, who died the day before yesterday. According to his family and friends, he was one of the best pilots in the Royal Thai Navy and a hero who helped several victims from the burning club.
