An adult film shoot goes terrifyingly wrong in trailer for horror movie X
Making an exciting and slightly wrong porn film: that is the plan of the young crew in X, the film that will be shown in Dutch cinemas from today. However, by choosing an abandoned farm as the location, it quickly turns into a bloody horror drama. The old owners turn out to be quite creepy and when night falls the sexy atmosphere changes into a terrifying nightmare.
X is a film by A24, the production company that has released several quirky and well-received films in addition to the hit series Euphoria. Think of horror titles like Hereditary and Midsommar, but also Moonlight and Uncut Gems come from here.

X is also already receiving rave reviews from critics. For example, the film, set in 1979, would give a refreshing twist to the ‘slasher’ genre and be as entertaining as it is disturbing. All this is the work of director Ti West, who already has quite a bit on his resume when it comes to horror.

The cast of X includes Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness), Jenna Ortega (You), Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Martin Henderson (The Ring) , and Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi. A prequel to the film has already been announced, which was also secretly shot in the same place as X, namely in New Zealand.
