A shooting in the US state of California has claimed seven lives. Police have arrested a 67-year-old man. It is the second mass shooting in the United States in three days.
7 DEAD
The shooting incident took place at two locations in the city of Half Moon Bay, about 50 kilometers south of San Francisco. Four people were killed in the first place. Four more bodies were found on the second spot. In addition to the seven deaths, one person was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
SUSPECT ARRESTED
The suspect was arrested in the police parking lot. He had a semi-automatic weapon in his car. The man is said to be an employee of a local mushroom farm. Two workers may be among the victims. The shooter’s motive is not yet clear.

SECOND SHOOTING IN THREE DAYS
Last Sunday, a shooting in a Los Angeles suburb claimed nine lives. The mass shooting took place after the celebration of a large Asian New Year party, which attracted thousands of visitors. The 72-year-old gunman shot himself dead when he was surrounded by police in his van.
