BREAKING: In an effort to curb the spread of the Covid19 virus, Chonburi province is undergoing numerous restrictions

Chonburi provincial government has released new orders with major changes. Effective tomorrow, July 13, 2021, essentially all businesses that are not essential services, such as hospitals or law enforcement, must close from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. to prevent the spread of the Covid19 virus.

In addition, people are REQUESTED to stay at home during these hours, although it is not a mandate as in Bangkok and other provinces.

Businesses to be closed from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM include gas stations, restaurants, department stores, retail stores, convenience stores such as 7-11, all markets, massage parlours, swimming pools, water parks, game and internet cafes, shops selling amulets be, beauty salons clinics and tattoo parlours.

All previous closure orders such as nightlife closures remain in effect, meaning all businesses are closed.

It is not yet known how long this order will be in effect.
