CAAT Thailand orders all airlines to meticulously check documents of foreign travellers
Thailand’s Civil Aviation Authority, the CAAT, has instructed all airlines to ensure that foreign travellers have all documents in order to enter their destination before issuing boarding passes.
The CAAT announcement concerns those tourists who had previously landed in one of the so-called “sandbox” zones and made further journeys across the country after completing their mandatory 14-day stay in the zone and obtaining a clear negative Covid19 test result.

Bangkok Airways started operating Phuket-Samui flights yesterday, while Nok Air reopened its Phuket-U-Tapao route with the CAAT urging foreign travellers in the sandbox areas to contact the airlines before travelling. to ensure a smooth journey.
