A thief was caught red-handed on CCTV footage allegedly taking women’s underwear on February 27.

A team of Saensuk Police eventually managed to identify the suspect after a series of underwear-related crimes in Bang Saen sub-district

Police have arrested 50-year-old Lin Huagua, a Chinese citizen who works for a Chinese-owned mechanical parts manufacturer on Sukhumvit Road in Chonburi’s main district. Lin lived on the property along with many other foreign workers.

Police found more than 50 pairs of women’s underwear in his bedroom on the company’s 4th floor. Mr. Lin has reportedly admitted to stealing the underwear but has not explained why he did so.

Police told reporters that Mr. Lin is accused of theft. He is now in custody and is reportedly unable to pay bail due to a lack of funds.
