The Thai Meteorological Department announced on Saturday that a fairly strong high-pressure area is covering the upper lands of Thailand, resulting in cool to cold weather and high winds in the areas.
At the same time, there is a monsoon trough over the lower south, while the northeast monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand is weakening, allowing for isolated heavy rainfall in the south of the country.
The people of the south are expected to be wary of these severe weather conditions that can cause flash flooding.
The wind waves in the Gulf of Thailand will reach heights of 1 to 2 meters and more than 2 meters high in thunderstorms. All ships should proceed with caution.
In Bangkok it will be cool in the morning, the temperature will be in the range of 24 to 32° Celsius while there is a weak northeasterly wind.
