Drama in Pattaya, 11-year-old boy shoots a five-year-old with a gun he found in the house
Police were called to a house in Soi Anamai Nong Ta-Un after a five-year-old child was shot with a Thailand-made .22 rifle.
Police only found blood stains near the hall. A five-year-old Cambodian boy had already been taken to Bang Lamung Hospital by Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation after being shot in the forehead with the bullet in the right side of the head. He later died in the hospital.
Sophon Cable TV said three children were playing and that the boy who pulled the trigger was an 11-year-old relative of the deceased boy’s father.
They found the gun and thought it was not real. Both gave testimony to Nong Prue police.
Sophon wrote that this tragedy was the result of “mischief”.
The reactions on social media turned against the adults, many saying it was not the fault of the child, but of the parents.
