Driver’s license renewals officially allowed at Thai Transport offices throughout the country from this month
The booking must be made through the DLT Smart Queue application or https://gecc.dlt.go.th to limit the number of people receiving services per day and reduce the risk of spreading the Covid-19 infection.
For those who have booked before or during the closure from April 16, you can change the booking period on the website or via the mobile application.
The provincial transportation agencies across the country are required to comply with the specific measures of the provincial commission on infectious diseases.
They also have to use the “DMHTA” measures, remember them? No, okay, here’s a rundown:
D – Keep your distance.
M – Wear a face mask.
H – Wash hands.
T – Carry out temperature check.
A – Run the Thai Chana application before and after the visit at the transportation office.
If you want to renew your driving license and driving licence, you can follow an online training via e-Learning at www.dlt-elearning.com instead of following the training at the office.
Other registrations and services, such as vehicle registration and tax authorities, can continue as usual at the Transport Office.
Some registration procedures defined by law for a period of time, such as transferring a vehicle or reporting the cessation of use, can be postponed until December 31, free of charge.
