Eligible foreigners in Pattaya have received the Pfizer Covid19 vaccines, more foreigners will soon be eligible
Eligible groups of foreigners living in Pattaya received the much-desired Pfizer vaccine as the gradual rollout in Chonburi province continues, although many continue to criticize the overall plan and speed.
Yesterday (August 23) vaccine campaign was conducted by Bangkok Hospital Pattaya at the Central Festival shopping centre on Pattaya Beach. These vaccinations have been active for more than a week.
Foreigners living in Thailand can register to receive Pfizer Covid 19 vaccines after first registering through Thailandintervac.com. Foreigners who are older than 60 years or who have chronic health problems or who are expecting are eligible. Elite visa holders can also register via Thailandintervac.com/expatriates.
Some businesspeople, investors had also previously registered on https://expatvac.consular.go.th/ and were eligible.
Just to be clear, these vaccination sessions do not have a free walk-in and are only accessible to registered persons, there are strict conditions that are meticulously observed, which are mainly aimed at the elderly, the vulnerable and people with work permits.
There is currently no “general” walk-in program for everyone, although officials say those who register through expatvac will eventually get an appointment, without giving an exact date.
According to a BKK Hospital spokesperson, more than 800 foreigners recently registered and received the Pfizer Covid -19 vaccine.
This vaccine campaign is run from Monday to Friday from 9 am. until 4:00 PM at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
Again, COZY WALK IN DOES NOT INCLUDE, only those pre-registered and contacted can get a vaccine. I want to be explicit about this because of the persistent messenger messages your news bear receives every day.
You REALLY need to register with one of the options above and get a confirmation email before you can join.
It is important for you as a guest in Thailand to know that the measures and developments regarding the Covid19 virus (can) change at any moment, don’t blame your news bear if he does not report the changes in time.
