Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis, one of the top executives at his neurotechnology company Neuralink, are said to have had twins last November. Business Insider writes that based on court documents.
Elon and Shivon filed a petition in a Texas court in April to change the twins’ names. The two wanted the children to have their father’s last name and their mother’s last name to be part of their middle name. This request was granted by the judge a month later. Both Elon and Shivon have not yet responded.

The Tesla CEO now has a total of nine children. Elon had five children with his ex-wife Justine Wilson. He has two children with singer Grimes, from whom he says he is ‘semi-divorced’. Their second child was born last December through a surrogate mother. That is a month after the birth of the twins with Shivon.
Shivon is the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, according to her LinkedIn profile. She is said to have met Elon in 2015, and two years later she joined Neuralink. That same month, she was also named artificial intelligence project director at Tesla, where she served until 2019. Furthermore, according to her profile, she is also a board member of artificial intelligence at Elon’s research agency OpenAI.
