Elon Musk has been in the news regularly for special facts. The richest man on earth is known for regularly making special revelations on Twitter. The 50-year-old entrepreneur was recently elected Person Of The Year and today released special information about how much tax he has to pay this year.
Elon Musk recently joked that he was thinking of quitting his jobs to work full-time as an influencer. Perhaps that has to do with the amount he has to pay in tax. Musk announced today via Twitter that it concerns billions of dollars.
“For those wondering, I’ll be paying over $11 billion in taxes this year,” the tweet reads.

Musk’s tweet appears to be a response to the commotion sparked by a tweet from Elizabeth Warren. Warren was a major contender to become the first female president in the US by representing the Democratic Party in the presidential election, but that position ultimately went to Joe Biden. After it was announced that Musk was chosen as Person Of The Year by the American magazine TIME, she shared on Twitter that it was time for him to actually pay taxes.
Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else. https://t.co/jqQxL9Run6

Elon Musk would not be Elon Musk by dealing with the accusations in a playful way. He responded last week by changing the name “Senator Warren” to “Senator Karen” in his references to the politician, comparing her to an angry mother who just gets mad at everyone for no apparent reason.
