England linesman Constantine Hatzidakis will not get any matches for the time being. The linesman must first await the investigation into the alleged elbow strike to Andrew Robertson last weekend.
ELBOW
At the end of the first half in the match between Liverpool and Arsenal (2-2), a bizarre moment arises. Based on footage, linesman Hatzidakis appears to be elbowing Liverpool’s Robertson. The Scottish defender initially appears to be in shock and then boils over with rage.
RESEARCH
PGMOL, the organization responsible for the (assistant) referees in England, is currently investigating the incident between Hatzidakis and Robertson. Should the linesman be found guilty, it will probably mean the end of his career. Until then, Hatzidakis will in any case no longer act as linesman.
