Director Jordan Peele has come up with some unforgettable and hair-raising films in recent years. Think Get Out (2017), Us (2019) and Candyman (2021). This year you can see a new masterpiece by him in the cinema. He has worked on the horror film Nope, of which the first teaser has now been released.
Unfortunately, you still have to make do with only three shots. The full trailer for Nope will be released this Sunday during the Super Bowl. What you do get to see is Daniel Kaluuya, who previously starred in Get Out and also appeared in Black Panther and Judas and the Black Messiah. Singer and actress Keke Palmer ( Hustlers) also plays a role, as does Steven Yeun (Minari, The Walking Dead).

Almost nothing is known about the storyline of Nope, but it is expected that it will be a social thriller, just like Peele’s previous hits: a scary film in which criticism is expressed on society with ‘human beings’ as the biggest monster. The director knows better than anyone how to create recognizable situations in scenes that are entertaining, but at the same time so creepy that your only reaction is: “Nope…”.
