If one thing is certain in life, it’s that Kanye always knows how to surprise with extravagant shit. This was also the case during his birthday party this weekend when he had sushi served to naked women. Yes, you read that right.
‘MISOGYNY AND SEXISM’
Kanye celebrated his 46th birthday, and as we are used to him, it happened in a special way. It was only a matter of time before the images would leak on social media. Videos show several naked women lying on the table with multiple trays on their bodies.
That caused a lot of commotion on social media; Kanye is accused of misogyny and sexism, among other things. “I don’t know what I find more disturbing: the fact that Kanye uses a naked woman to serve sushi or the fact that he thought this was an appropriate idea for a party,” someone wrote on Twitter.

Other people say it is a common Japanese practice on social media. “This is called ‘nyotaimori’, or body sushi. It’s definitely not cheap, and it’s often done more for the atmosphere than for actual consumption,” explains one Twitter user. Someone else writes, “Lol, people don’t even know this isn’t uncommon. There are restaurants all over the world doing this.”
9-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER NORTH ALSO PRESENT
Another point that Kanye gets a lot of criticism about is the fact that his eldest, 9-year-old daughter North was also present during the birthday party. Photos show North walking hand in hand with Kanye’s new flame Bianca Censori to the party. At the party, North also ate the served sushi. “So, Kanye freaked out when Kim (Kardashian, ed.) Let North dance on TikTok, but he’s okay with North coming to his birthday where sushi is served to a naked woman?” Tweeter wonders.
