Marital feud ends in full-blown drama in which the woman and her 8-month-old baby were killed
A woman and her baby were killed Wednesday morning in a fall from the ninth floor of an apartment building on a side street off Ratchadamri Road in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district.
Lumpini Police were notified of the nasty incident around 6:30 a.m.
In the 21-storey condominium on Soi Mahatlek Luang 3, they found the bodies of a Thai woman and baby on an overhang on the second floor.
According to police, the 37-year-old woman and 8-month-old child lived with her Australian husband on the third floor.
The couple allegedly got into an argument, after which the angry woman went with her baby to the ninth floor and then jumped from it, according to the police.
Police found drugs for depression and stress in the couple’s room. Her Australian husband is currently still being questioned
The deceased woman was identified as Pranaiya Oulapathorn. According to media reports, she had a diamond business and was a graduate of Oxford University, she married her boyfriend in Oxford in 2017.
