Police find 5 fetuses inside D.C. home of self-proclaimed “anti-abortion activist”

Police officers in the American city of Washington DC made a remarkable discovery last Wednesday at the home of an anti-abortion activist. The woman kept five fetuses in cooler boxes at home.

According to WUSA9, activist Lauren Handy sat on the sidewalk in front of her home while police searched her home. At one point, officers walked out with five coolers in which she kept the fetuses. A reporter from WUSA9 what was in the boxes to which Handy replied, “People will freak out when they hear it.”

Police are currently investigating where the fetuses came from. The fetuses have since been handed over to a coroner and are being examined.

Handy was also charged in 2020 for her role in blocking an abortion clinic in the American capital. She and eight other suspects are charged with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) for their role in blocking the clinic using their bodies, furniture, chains, and ropes. If found guilty, the suspects could face up to 11 years behind bars.
