Several days of torrential rain and the potential for flash flooding are forecast, according to the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD).

The Jomtien Second Road from the entrance of Soi Boon Kanjanaram Temple to Chaiyapruek Road, which is about 1.2 kilometres long, was completely underwater.

In the end, if you will start at the intersection of Chaiyapruek Road and Jomtien Beach Road in front of the Grand Jomtien Hotel an entire lane next to the beach was washed away by rainwater, a hole was five meters deep could be seen

The abundant body of water pulled several coconut and palm trees into the sea, as well as a nearby traffic light, as the water washed away the beach.

Colonel Arus Sapanon of Pattaya Traffic Police told a local reporter that a section of the road has been blocked that has been damaged. Traffic should avoid this area for a while until it is fully repaired.

In the late afternoon yesterday afternoon, they had started to repair the heavily damaged road and beach, but more rain is forecast in the coming days, so we’ll have to see if it will offer much solace.
