Russian man killed himself, his girlfriend and a Thai woman in a motorcycle accident in Phuket
Alexei Tyunin of Russia caused a fatal motorcycle accident in Thailand that killed himself, his girlfriend and a local resident on the island of Phuket
Russian citizen Alexei Tyunin, 35, died on Phuket island after crashing his motorcycle along with his girlfriend Valentina Romantseva, 29, also a Russian citizen. A 26-year-old Thai citizen, who was a victim of a Russian motorcycle crash, was also killed in a fatal accident.
The accident happened around 4.30 am on November 4. CCTV cameras installed on Wiset Road near the intersection of Chalong, recorded a large Ducati sports motorcycle, on which the couple was riding on the road from Rawai Beach. The motorcycle was racing at a huge speed until it crashed into a Yamaha Filano scooter with three passengers in a section with a U-turn.
As a result of the collision, Alexei Tyunin died on the spot, his passenger Valentina Romantseva was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Of the three victims of the scooter two male tourists from France and a Thai citizen, all of them were also urgently hospitalized, but the girl later died as well.
The Phuket police are currently investigating.
