Ghostface is back and the well-known character from the legendary horror franchise Scream is more murderous than ever. The first trailer of the upcoming film has come online today and promises a lot!
NEW AND FAMILIAR CHARACTERS
It’s been eleven years since the last Scream movie came out. The new film is not necessarily a sequel to Scream 4, it is a kind of reboot. While there will be many new actors to admire – such as Jenna Ortega ( You ) and Dylan Minnette ( 13 Reasons Why ) – old acquaintances will also return.
Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott), Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) and David Arquette (Dewey Riley) will return to their classic roles. The trailer shows Dewey calling Sidney to join forces with Gale to unmask the killer.

Unfortunately, the film will not be shown during Halloween yet. Scream 5 will hit theatres on January 20, 2022.
