Thai government calls on foreigners to register for the Covid19 vaccine

The government has again called on all foreigners living in the kingdom to register for the Covid19 vaccination this month.

Khun Natapanu Nopakun, the deputy. Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed that foreigners should contact the relevant agency to register for the vaccination.

Migrant workers from neighbouring countries are received by the Social Security Service.

Spouses of Thai nationals, retirees, investors and all other foreign nationals are requested to contact their hospital with their health record or register at the designated vaccination centres on-site.

But the request hardly helps, as it turned out, De Thaiger” reports that countless foreigners have tried in vain to register or make an appointment for the vaccination.

The registration apps don’t work, they can’t register, or they were told at the vaccination centres that they couldn’t participate in the vaccination campaign.

Apparently only Phuket currently vaccinates foreigners who work on the holiday island and can show a work permit.
