A man in Chiang Mai panicked after his vaccination records showed he had received a Sinovac first and an AstraZeneca branded vaccine for his second vaccination.
Adul Duangsoi, a 51-year-old camera assistant, received his first shot on May 21 and the second on June 11. He felt fatigued for several days after getting the second shot, so he checked his vaccination records. He was shocked to find out at Nakornping Hospital that he had been vaccinated with a different brand of Covid19 vaccine
He immediately called friends, all of whom told him they had received two doses of Sinovac.
Concerned about potential dangers to his health, Adul visited the hospital on Wednesday to seek clarification. A doctor there first reassured him that receiving several Covid-19 vaccines would not harm his health.
The hospital then checked the records and found that Adul had in fact received two doses of Sinovac vaccine. The hospital admitted the mistake and promptly handed Adul his corrected vaccination document.
