Police seized one consignment of drugs with a street value of THB 14 million last night on the main road to Kukrit in Songkhla’s Hat Yai district.
The seizure came after police were tipped off that drug traffickers were delivering drugs to customers in the area.
“We have called in detectives to look for the drug traffickers, but have only been able to find hidden drugs in three bags,” the police said.
Police added that they would speed up a CCTV image check and scrutinize the packages for fingerprints in hopes of identifying the drug traffickers and taking legal action against them.
