This year’s military exercise ‘Cobra Gold’ will be held between February 22 and March 4 and will be scaled down slightly due to the Covid19 pandemic, according to a Thai military source.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that despite it being a “tough year,” the region’s largest annual military exercise involving the US and its allies and friends will be limited and fewer military personnel. will involve more than originally planned.
The annual exercise alternates between “light” and “hard” years, with varying numbers of troops and programs of activities.
