Phuket police have said they have enough evidence to identify the man who broke into a gold shop in Muang district on Saturday and made off with a shipment of gold jewellery worth 10 million baht.
The robber, believed to be “no older than 35”, gained access to the shop through the ceiling and forced the two elderly shop assistants to open the safe and escape with loot worth 10 million baht. He left the store the same way he came.
Local police said yesterday that they had identified the man based on evidence and footage captured on CCTV.
