The Thai Meteorological Institute has warned the coastal city of Pattaya and eastern regions of fairly widespread thunderstorms with isolated heavy rains this week, with inevitable flooding.
Fairly widespread thunderstorms with isolated heavy rainfall are forecast for Chachoengsao, Chonburi (Pattaya), Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
The mercury will be between 23° and 33° Celsius with a moderate south-easterly wind. At sea, the waves will be about 1 meter high and more than 1 meter in areas with thunderstorms.
