According to the deputy. Government spokeswoman Khun Ratchada Thanadirek is expected to see foreigners living in Thailand register for a Covid 19 vaccination in August.

The Ministry of Health is currently developing a registration platform for ex-pats. It should be available by August. It cannot be ruled out that foreigners can be vaccinated in private hospitals before being vaccinated by the state.

All Thais between the ages of 18 and 59 can register for the vaccine from May 31, through the Mor-Prom platform or through the Mor-Prom account in the Line app. Registrations are also accepted by state hospitals. Until now, registration was only open to Thais over 60 years of age or people with chronic illnesses. Registration for all Thai adults has been brought forward to contain the spread of the virus during the third wave of infections.

Ratchada went on to say that most vaccines administered in Thailand will be locally made AstraZeneca vaccines, but the Sinovac, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines have now been approved by the Thai government.
