The Ramayana Water Park in Na-Jomtien, about 15 kilometres south of Pattaya, is open every weekend from Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from yesterday.

Visitors who have already been fully vaccinated against the Covid19 virus (usually two and two injections) and who show their Covid19 vaccination certificate at the checkout can enter the water park for free.

The campaign is valid until July 31, 2021.

In a press release about the reopening of the water park, Andrea Galeazzi, General Manager of the Ramayana Water Park, announced that Ramayana was one of the first attractions in the greater Pattaya area to be awarded the SHA certificate.

The certificate issued by the Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration (SHA) is intended to guarantee visitors to the water park that it is a safe attraction in which all hygiene and Covid-19 safety regulations of the SHA are successfully applied.

With regard to the currently tense Covid-19 situation, Galeazzi points out that swimming in well-maintained and chlorinated water parks or swimming pools has been classified as completely safe by the World Health Organization (WHO) and recognized researchers.

According to Galeazzi, one of the country’s most modern and expensive water filtration systems, costing more than $2 million, allows visitors to the water park to feel absolutely safe while swimming. Along with the latest scientific findings from the WHO, the Ramayana Water Park is one of the safest places in all of Thailand, according to Galeazzi.
