In these evil times, more and more people in Thailand are becoming suicidal every day

According to a recent survey by the Thai Ministry of Mental Health, up to seven in 100,000 people in Thailand are suffering from stress as a result of the Covid19 pandemic.

dr. Wimonrat Wanpen, director of Mental Health Center 13, said the number rose from six to seven in the third wave of infections. More people are so stressed that they are either clinically depressed that they develop suicidal thoughts.

“If the government doesn’t take action to allay people’s concerns, up to eight out of every 100,000 people in Thailand will soon be at risk of suicide.”

The ministry recently set up a website to help people assess their stress levels.
