A cunning thief forced his way into a gold shop in Phuket through the roof, allegedly assaulting two elderly shop assistants, forcing them to open a safe, before making off with the 10 million baht gold.

The robber, who was reportedly “not older than 35,” allegedly beat the two shop assistants — the owner’s cousins, ages 65 and 71 — with a piece of wood and brandished a long knife to force them to open the gold vault. to open.
According to the police, the robber with the large catch in his possession managed to escape through the same hole he had made in the ceiling.
However, he left his shoes at the scene and police believe they are an important piece of evidence that could help identify him. But officers admitted they were unsure whether he is Thai or a foreigner.
