Crime Suppression Division police have arrested a transgender woman in Tak for allegedly live streaming sex with her boyfriend to paying subscribers in a Line group.

Karnklao Klomkan, 30, known as Nong Phrai, was detained while walking on a dirt road in Tak’s Sam Ngao district, Major General Montri Khetkhan, CSD commander, said Friday.

The suspect was wanted under an August 2 arrest warrant issued by the Criminal Court for placing pornography in a computer system for commercial purposes or distribution, producing pornography and related charges.

The arrest followed a complaint that a website was encouraging people to join an online group that featured sexual shows. Interested parties were asked to pay a subscription to watch the shows through a Line group. The shows feature live sex acts by the couple in various locations, the CSD chief said.

Karnklao was also wanted under an arrest warrant issued by Wang Thong Lang police in Bangkok for similar offences. The suspect lived in the Sam Ngao district.

During the interrogation, Karnklao is said to have admitted the violations. The man in the videos was her boyfriend, the suspect said.

The suspect said he started streaming live sex last year. The subscription fee was 700 baht per person and many people had joined the Line group.

The suspect will be handed over to Wang Thong Lang police for legal action, the CSD commander said.
