The railway bridge in East Pattaya which was closed last week due to the start of the high-speed train connection between three major airports is set to reopen on June 5.

Not all Soi Nernplubwan lanes that cross the parallel rail line will reopen on June 5, as the provincial electricity authority installs energy systems to support the high-speed line. However, the flyover should be fully passable by June 10, the utility announced in May.

The bridge project is the first inconvenience of work on the 3.6 billion baht high-speed railway that will connect Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang international airports with U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya airport.

Construction, led by the Italian Thai Development Co., began on April 1, and is expected to be completed by August 31, 2025.
